Conflux III Items
Consumable items
Food
Name | Obtained from | Nutritional Value | Comment |
---|---|---|---|
Amber worm |
|
Medium low | Basic food item. |
Ashes |
|
None | Ashes are consumable, but not all ashes are the same. When eaten, your water level decreases. |
Chewer pod |
|
Medium high | Grow into Chewers. Press out Chewer pods into an empty flask (holding both items in a champion's hands) to make Juice. Juice randomly heals sicknesses when drunken. It has also the effect of a flask of normal water. |
Dragon Heart |
|
Highest | +30 Vitality. |
Eye | - | There are better uses for an eye than consumption. Eyes are poisonous when eaten and lower Wisdom. | |
Gorgonzola |
|
High | Say cheeze! |
Skullseeds | Very low | Grow into snapdragons in moist environments. Skullseeds should be used for spells rather than being eaten. | |
Snapdragon |
|
Lowest | Snapdragons are your friend. They reappear on occasion. Try to eat in a short time as much as possible of them and you become considerably tougher! 10 in a row seems like a start. Then it has even some nutritional value. Good for breaching your way out of hopeless situations, like when you begin the game, or to boost up the party for descending. Snapdragons produce skullseeds at the end of their life cycle. |
Spitter Berry |
|
Medium | Grow into Spitter trees on green squares and drains. |
Steak |
|
Very high | Fur rags can be traded at the Fur Trader for steaks. |
Stone Mushroom | - | Low | Magic mushrooms for your psychedelic enjoyment! A Stone mushroom left on a floor will produce a new mushroom and dead spores. This takes a while though. |
A Guide to Fine Wines and Liquors
All alcoholic liquids produce the text message: "You feel dizzy and clumsy." when drunk. In general, most wines decrease either Wisdom, Dexterity and sometimes both, sometime not at all. As in real life, being drunk acts as if your party is over-burdened or slowed. They also may or may not increase water levels. Drinking a wine consumes the flask.

The higher the strength of the potion the better increase. It is therefore recommended that you use (MON) potions first as save low power versions for puzzles. The increase is highly random, so you might want to save before using and re-loading if you don't like the result. It is possible to get +5 to all stats with a (MON) level potion. See also the Alchemy Guide. Does not change the water level. |
Vinegars
- Drinking vinegars poisons you and decreases your water level.
- Drinking vinegars does not give you an empty flask, the container always breaks, as you hear from the noise.
- Used for the Quest for the empty flask.
