Description
This area is lit, so you don't need light a light source, which is convenient for a starting party.
Poisonous Rock Monsters and a Minotaur live here.
Interests
- There are six mirrors in this maze. Touching them with a Mirror of Dawn consumes your Mirror of Dawn, and makes an alcove appear instead where you find a new Mirror of Dawn along with another item. You can obtain a Magic Purse, a Monk Staff, a Moonstone necklace, bones, a golden GOR Coin, and a Gem of Ages necklace.
- You can find the Funereal Stormring at {0,20,21}, which must be unlocked by four spare Guild items.
- At {0,19,17} you can generate rocks needed for a puzzle nearby.
- Throw rocks into the teleporter at {0,22,14} and through the grate door at {0,19,13} until the adjacent removable walls vanish. This opens the path to another interesting area on this level.
Connections
- The most obvious entry and exit is a ladder from the Cellar at {1,24,31}.
- There is a secret passage to the Temple's Pit of Ephesus at {0,19,20}.
- Through the burnable door at {0,29,15} where you find the MIPS puzzle area, the maze is connected with the Storage Cellar at {1,31,4}. If you open up the path from this side by burning the door, you can save keys.
- Solving a puzzle opens up a way through a removable wall at {0,22,15}. The area beyond is connected to the Storage Cellar at {1,18,2}, but cannot be opened from there.
- A pit leads to the Sewers at {3,21,14} near the Temple stairs.
- A pit leads to the Sewers at {3,19,14} onto the Temple stairs.
