Alchemy Guide

The Alchemical Oven

• You find the oven at
  {0,11,9}.
• Use the oven once before opening each further door of the Wizards' Guild, or lose the extra oven uses.
  • You need two potions for each use.
  • The potions' strengths and which one you put into the oven first don't matter, but nothing can be produced twice.
  • Each of up to 3 possible uses allows to produce one more item from the following table:

Special Waters

Auric water can be obained from the Tavern's gargole fountain in The Altar of the Assault.

A single flask of Argentum Vis can be obtained from the Alchemy Lab of the Hellforge.

The Philosophal Stone

• The Philosophal Stone is obtained in
  The Repository
  .
• The stone has the power to "Transmute", but what exactly can be transmuted is unknown at this time.

Other Magical Transmutations, Experiments, and Crafting

• Other uses for Fur Rags:
  • The "sew together" action appears when you place 1 Fur Rag in each hand. This action produces a new Cape.
  • The "make torch" action appears when you place 1 Fur Rag in one hand and a stick or a burnt out torch in the other. This action produces a new torch.

• The Vinegar Transmuter on The Emerald Level turns a Kath Vinegar into a dead (MON) Blast Spore.

• Ven Eggs:
  Ven Eggs of all type and strengths can be "cooked" with a burning torch in one hand and the Ven Egg in the other. All Cooked Eggs are of (MON) strength.
