Conflux/Places/Spiders

Description

The Spiders’ area is mostly located on level 6 but also includes pockets on level 7.

How to get there

There are multiple stairs and pits that lead to the spiders’ area:

• Stairs from the Dwarven Hall
• Stairs from the The Way of Our Ancestors
• A pit at {5,19,3}
• A pit at {5,12,3}
• Stairs at {5,5,0} in the north of the Crypt.

Interests

• Statues will grant the party an item in exchange for the correct tribute.
• The north western part of the level is the starting point of the Phasing Shower puzzle.
• The southern part of the level is where the Spiders Lair is located.

Connections

• Stairs at {6,1,19} lead to a closed off area on the Crypt level with access to more stairs back to the Mines
• Stairs at {6,9,5} and {6,11,5} lead to a platform occupied by a respawning spider which grants access to the Elevator Room Mines on level 4.
• Stairs at {6,5,0} lead to the north of the Crypt.
• Stairs at {6,5,7} allow the party to access the Treasury.
• Stairs at {6,7,20} drop the party to a platform occupied by a respawning spider. The stairs further to the east are one entrance to the Revenge Room.
• Stairs at {6,13,24} opposite the Torture Chamber on level 7 are the 2nd access point to/from the Revenge Room.
• Stairs at {6,16,14} may seem like a dead end. However there is a fake wall to the west that hides stairs to the Emerald Level and another fake wall to the south west that lands the party between The White Chambers of the Council and The Barracks on level 7.
• Optional shortcut stairs to the Mines at {6,0,16} and to The Council level at {6,0,18} can be accessed for the price of an emerald key
• A fake wall at {6,28,26} behind the Foutain L links the spiders’ area with the Path of Tao
