Conflux/Places/Officers Canteen

Description

This is a medium sized room with a four-way alcove at one end. In these alcoves is a never ending supply of Amber Worm Rounds and Chewer Pods. The Officers Canteen is a major hub in that it links access to most of the Council level with a teleporter to the Dwarven Fortress near the Guild Elevator. This makes it easy to go to and from Guilds to the deeper levels of Conflux and eat as you go by.

• Groups of up to four Vexirks appear when you move around here, so a weak party can be easily killed.
• This is probably the most easily reachable and most effective unlimited food supply.

Interests

• There's a normal water fountain on the southern wall.

Using this fountain can summon vexirks.

• In the four alcoves around the central column are Amber Worm Slices and Chewer Pods constantly regenerated.
• If you empty the alcoves completely, you will find a few additional items, notably a Shuriken, which is useful as a Guild Lock Key besides being a Ninja's throwing weapon, and a Gold Key.

Connections

This room has many entrances and exits:

• The main entrance with a Ra Lock openable with a Plasma
• A fake wall to and from the Council backdoor corridor where you'll also find the torture chamber (entrance to the Emerald Level); an area downstairs with the Shield of Darc, a Dragon Heart and a coin; stairs to the Revenge Room on the Spiders' Level.
• A fake wall with a teleporter to and from the Temple's Retirement Room.
• An openable wall to the north with a direct connection to a staircase between the Revenge Room and the western part of the Spiders' Level. This wall cannot be opened from the Canteen's side.
• To the east is teleporter to The Dwarven Fortress near the Elevator to the Guilds.
