The Monastery is the area surrounding the Iron Temple where the monks live in several apartments.

From the cross key room in the Cellar, proceed north until reaching stairs at {1,31,16} or {1,29,18}. Go downstairs, dodge or kill the materializers who roam the room and head west. From that platform either take the stairs north at {1,25,25} or south at {2,25,27}.
