The Observatory is the top floor to the Tower of Mampang.
It is where the Archmage awaits intruders who beat the tower’s many defences.
The room itself is only made up of 9 squares with a pillar in the middle so it is a rather tight fit for a fight.

Once the party has reached the hidden Tower of Lightning, watch out for pits and eyes that shoot lightning bolts.
The exit path is not visible to the naked eye but the Archmage is a master of illusions…

The alcoves only contain food and miscellaneous items so can be ignored.
The pillar can be destroyed to enhance visibility
There are mirrors of winged beasts begging the party to help: it is worth their advice to gain points in the Competition.
