The following is a guide to the use of a Scroll of Teleportation.

Scrolls of Teleportation

Scatteed around Conflux are five scrolls of teleportation.

  • Each scroll will teleport the party to a specific place if used with the Anchor spell.
  • If the Achor spell is not used, the party will be teleported to Aquatana ( 17{26,5} ).
  • Place scroll in hand and cast <Power Rune> OH (OH).

Understanding Anchors

  • Three scrolls in the game detail the Anchor spell:
   ANCHOR/CREATES A HOLE/OF SHADOW/IN THE WEFT/OF MAGIC.
   A COIN/OF ANY METAL/WILL BE/CONSUMED/AS A SUPPORT/FOR THE ANCHOR
   THE HIGHEST/RESSOURCES/MUST BE/INVERTED/TO SET THE/THRESHOLD.
  • The Anchor spell DESEWDAIN (DES EW DAIN) when cast creates a return point for a Teleport Scroll.
  • A metal coin needs to be in either hand and will be lost when the spell is cast.
  • The spell must be cast at MON (MON) power level.
    • Using any power level other than MON (MON) results in spell failure, but the coin is not consumed.
    • In order to cast the spell at MON (MON) level the caster must be an EE Master Wizard.
  • The spell "anchors" the return point to a wall, so it must be cast next to one.
  • Teleport scrolls move the party to Aquatana and then to the site where the Anchor spell was cast, so it is possible to take damage during transport.
  • All sight is lost for a few seconds after teleporting.
