Vecna (+1 [[Conflux/Competition|Competition]] point) is indeed killable, though ultra though. The best way to kill her is to stand in front of her and bash her with Maces (axes seems useless), as magic will be thrown back to the party.

A known bug seems to affect you by the Curse Of Vecna even after killing her. It is triggered by walking in front of Vecna's corridor. The curse may be cured in [[Conflux/Places/Temple|The Temple]]. The Bones of the Cartographer can be found here, as the Vampiric Starvation spell (<runes>ZO VEN SAR</runes>) (+1 [[Conflux/Competition|Competition]] point), a monk staff, and the password for the map of the level. Vecna holds the Funeral Mace (+1 [[Conflux/Competition|Competition]] point).
