Conflux Bugs
Halk's ending with the power gem closes off the Guild hall, but a player can escape by droping down the pit in the Ninja guild. This pit should be closed off to prevent this.
System error 0x000ccb7 Recursive timer search
This crash occured without player interaction. I was unable to reproduce the error, but wanted to note that it did occur.
There is a Torch at 2(31,25) that never dies. It is a unique item, but does not have the unique property nor a name.
There is a unique Dust at 6(00,30) with a similar issue. This Dust should be label the Ashes of Herakles, but is only listed as unique.
DSA &PARAM@ non-existant parameter DSA at 16(8,24) Row=0; Col=0
DSA variable[0] used without having been assigned a value Should future warning be supressed?
Clicking on yes allows the game to proceed normally.
Stone Mushrooms: Stone mushrooms like Snapdragons have a life cycle. When placed on a floor tile and left for an extended period of time, a Stone Mushroom will decay into a Dust (dead Mushroom spores). This is kind of a misnomer as a new Stone Mushroom will generate near the Dust and the cycle will repeat.
A problem arises when two Stone Mushrooms are placed on the floor. A Stone Mushroom was left in the Sewers, and it began its cycle. Part of the Apprentice Level tasks is the Gardening Challenge. Which utilizes the life cycle of the Stone Mushroom to eventually reach a pad that will open a treasure alcove. A second Stone Mushroom was placed at the start of the Gardening Challenge, but that action stopped the life cycle in both places. Only when the first Stone Mushroom was removed from the floor would the Gardening Challenge resume. Unfortunately the disruption caused the cycle to end prematurely. When a second mushroom was added to the start it began it cycle, but the puzzle assumes an unimpeaded path to the pad and "bounced" back to the beginning.
It's assumed that this behavior is to prevent Stone Mushroom growth in places where Stone Mushrooms are on a floor tile (Sewers), but it might be easier to just move those to an alcove or bag (chest). A typical player will not know this conflict can occur or how to fix it.
- It took three tries to correct the issue, but the puzzle finally unlocked.
Dexhelm (Helm of Madness Whispered) - When worn this Dexhelm causes its wearer to randomly spout random text while slowly reducing Wisdom to 0. When the "speech" occurs, it counts as an action the wearers action hand is blanked as if holding a non-actionable item (clothing/armor). The bug causes the blank to always be targeted at the Green Champion and not the wearer of the Dexhelm.
System Error 56535 DSA Stack Underflow DSA at 3(8,5) Row=0; Col=9
****Fixed**** The stack underflow is fixed but a conflict still exists....See below
Missing section in CSBGraphics.dat Section id=994, Type=Wall Decorations
DSA 255 (Decoration AB) state 50 line S0 contains an LO instruction that should probably be L0. Very likely no harm. The result is zero in either case.
Lightning is Very powerful as of WIP006. A lightning hit above LO is almost guaranteed to break a bone. It also makes killing Vecna impossible even for Champions with 999 HP.
DSA Conflict
Once a Party has descended below King Under the Mountain(Level 21) a DSA filter is applied to the Parties light level. Max brightness of light is immediately reduced seconds after casting any light spell. A consequence of visiting Inferno (Level 26).
On Level 17 is the Darkness Chamber. Entry into this area causes all light levels to drop to 0. Light spells are extremely short lived regardless of power, but can be supplimented by wearing a Gem of Ages necklace.
The conflict occurs if a Party enters Inferno and then enters the Darkness Chamber. Once the party enters light levels are dropped to 0, but if the Party simply waits for about a minute, the DSA kicks in and resets the light level back to before entry into the room.
Thorns - Thorns can be coated with various Dusts and Powders to produce a new Thorn that can boost certain stats when the weilder uses the "prick" action.
It is unclear if it is a bug or design that 5 different compounds (Cupric Phosphate, Ferrous Nitre, Nitro Titanium, Phosphoferric, and Titanic Phosphate)all produce the same Thorn (Green Fate)
CHROMATIC WINE - Description at 62(29,30) also causes text from 63(29,30) to be displayed. Was this intended?
Text Confusion. Cluster of text around 63(29,25) and to the southwest interferes with the text on the level above.
Text Confusion. @63(31,0) is description of DUST. But 63(31,0) begins water evaporation text. When DUST is examined, evaporation text will be displayed by examine filter in state T1.
- This might not be a bug. Please look at the Evaporatives in Alchemy Guide.
DSA interference. Example @ 3(8,5):
- DSA Sound A - S or C East ...
- DSA Decoration AB
A message 9(Set 3) arrived and both DSAs received it. Decoration AB in state 13 and DSA Sound A in state 0.
DSA number 130 "Activate after A tiks. relay to B. State 0 no delay. State 1: 500 Seems strange. It forwards a message at most once for every 500 ticks of the clock since the game started. But I think it probably was intended to forward messages separated by at least 500 ticks of the clock. I think parameter A should be set to gametime+500 rather than to Parameter A+500.
SULFUR + TITANIUM yields TITANIC PHOSPHATE. Probably should be TITANIUM SULFATE.
