Conflux/Places/Ye Old King Under The Mountain: Difference between revisions

This area makes up most of level 21 and is a maze of colonnades gatekeeping the lowest levels of the Undercity.

From the Moria, the party must find the path leading to the Hot Springs.
- Once there, find the stairs at {16,31,0} to the underground.
- Proceed down 3 flights of stairs until reaching a gate guarded by a gargoyle: open it by pressing on the ring right beside it.
- On the next floor down, defeat the Dracolich that roams the area.
- A tiny switch removes a wall blocking the way to the final stairs down.
The pit at {14,26,18} is a more direct and hurtful way to reach the maze.

There are several switches hidden away in the maze, each releasing a unique creature and granting access to the next switch in the sequence.
Once all switches are turned on, the party unlocks the stairs leading down.
The level is otherwise populated by Red Ants.
