Conflux/Spells

Many of the spells in Conflux have been renamed and use different runes than you have become accustomed to. Moreover, their behaviour has become much more complex and may do different things depending on the circumstances. Some cannot be cast until you find the scroll that tells you how to cast the spell. Some may require that you possess special objects. Some may work differently for different characters. Spells are definitly going to be new territory if you just came from playing Dungeon Master.

Wizard spells

(OH VEN)	Poison Cloud.
(YA VEN)	Poison Blob.
(ZO EW)	Dispel magic bolt: Damages immaterial creatures.
(ZO VEN)	Poison Bolt.
(DES GOR DAIN)	Open Door Casting at (LO) level is sufficient.
(DES IR RA)	"Sunlight": Long magical light.
(OH BRO ROS)	"Infrared Vision" Magic Footprints.
(OH EW SAR)	"Invisibility".

(FUL EW)	Darkness spell. Useless?
(YA EW DAIN)	"Clairvoyance": See through walls.
(ZO KATH RA)	Generates a Plasma in hand (on the floor if no hand is free).

Flask priest spells

(YA)	(MON) Potion.	Increases Stamina.
(YA BRO)	SERUM Potion. ( (VEN) symbol on the flask)	Cures all levels of poisoning even at (LO) level.
(VI GOR)	ICHOR Potion.( (VI) symbol on the flask)	Heals wounds. Cures sickness. (Random factor) Restores health points.
(VI IR KU)	(KU) Potion.	Increases Strength.
(VI IR ROS)	(ROS) Potion.	Increases Dexterity.
(VI IR DAIN)	DANE Potion. ( (DAIN) symbol on the flask)	Increases Wisdom.
(VI IR NETA)	(NETA) Potion.	Increases Vitality.
(DES KATH RA)	(EE) Potion. ( (BRO) symbol on the flask) "Fluid of Virtus"	Restores Mana points.
(DES BRO KU)	(YA) Elixir. "Heroism Brewage".	Creates a shield around the character drinking it, see also "Stoneskin" below.

Non-aligned spells

Runes	Requirement	Effect
(VI)	Empty flask. (UM) Master Wizard.	Produces water in Flask in any hand. Origin Scroll says: "Summons Lesser Water Elemental".
(ZO)	Item in inventory.	Curse an item at random in the character's inventory.
(YA GOR ROS)	Bag.	"Mischievous Bag": creates an item (on the floor, not in the bag): (LO): Nothing. (UM): Ashes. (ON): Snapdragon. (EE): Chalcedony. (PAL): Rope. (MON): Dying torch.
(YA KATH)	Compass in hand.	"Find North." Rotates the party northwards. Somewhat random.
(DES EW DAIN)	Coin.	"Anchor" Creates a return point for teleport. Must be cast next to a wall.
(FUL BRO SAR)	Full special armor worn.	"Awake the Spirit of Armours": Activates the armour's ability. Darc Armor: No spellcasting with full armor. (Zyx says this will be fixed in wip004) Dragon Armor: Fireball in all directions. Don't cast near walls! Holy Armor: Heals party. The maximum power level a caster can use is one less than the casters level. An (UM) Master wizard can cast (LO FUL BRO SAR).
(FUL GOR RA)	Dead Blast Spore (Brown) .	"Energize Dead Spores" (L at 16,12,30) The power level used in casting this spell determines the power of the re-enegized the Blast Spore. (MON FUL GOR RA) creates a MON Blast Spore from a dead Blast Spore. (LO FUL GOR RA) will produce a LO Blast Spore even from a MON Dead Blast Spore.
(ZO EW NETA)	Skullseeds.	"Holds back Vecna's minions": Dispell-type bolt? (L at 05,25,23)
Show text (ZO GOR SAR)	Cerberus.	Makes a Cerberus fiery. Show text The maximum power level a caster can use is one less than the casters level. Show text An (UM) Master wizard can cast (LO ZO GOR SAR).

(FUL VEN)	?	Kath Vinegar. Cursed Torch.	"Makes Bomb" (L at 16,07,01 area somewhere)
(OH GOR)	W?	-	"Thunder": Lightning bolt. Unlocked at Test of The Burning Hands.
(OH KATH)	?	-	"Keanness of Ear". Improves hearing Temporarily improves obscurity.
(VI EW)	?	Must be unlocked repeatedly as the ability to cast it expires.	"Soap and Water" can only be cast in the Soap Room. Casting at (LO) level is sufficient. Unlock at any fountain in the room.
(DES BRO RA)	?	-	"Stoneskin": Monster shield spell, Unlocked at Golems Also given by Stone Club "Golemsoul". Same as Heroism Brewage?
(OH EW ROS)	?	Iaido in your party. Additional unknown spell component required.	"Pickpocket Move" (L) (Found on Iaido)
