The Many Headed Hydra
The Hydra has 9 individual Heads that fall off as it takes damage until only the "Last Hydra" Head remains. Cast off Heads will immediatly attack the Party. All heads of the Hydra, except the Underwyrm, are poisonous. Two Hydras are immobile.
Supernatural Forces
- Tentacles
Holes in the fabric of the universe allow this menace to reach forth with its venomous tentacles. If your party gets too close to these vile appendages, they can be siezed, held in place, and turned in various directions while their deadly poison seeps into your veins. Contact with a Tentacle will poison your entire party. Since Tentacles are not native to this universe they are immune to all weapons and spells. Avoid them as much as possible and keep flasks of Serum handy to counteract the poison.
- Black Smoke
The Black Smoke is normally only found on the ROS level. From a distance it has the appearance of the attacking smoke from giggler or leprachaun. Up close, however, this dark power reveals its malevolent nature. The Black Smoke will actively try to surround you and then commence feeding off of the Stamina of your entire Party! As you move, the Black Smoke will attempt to follow and can only be stopped by descent into a pit or a magical barrier. Due to its supernatural origins, the Black Smoke cannot be faught by any means. Keep (MON) potions handy to counteract the Stamina drain and use pits to gain temporary safety.
